Saskia & Chris’s wedding was a wonderful multi-culural fare with Saskia’s family coming over from the Netherlands and plenty of them taking the opportunity to get kilted up! The entire day was hosted by The Hub on one of the windiest days Edinburgh has seen, it was fortunate there wasn’t too much time spent outside! The main thing that shone through for me from the day was Saskia & Chris’s love for one another, in pretty much every photograph there were adoring looks between the them.  In the evening there was a ceilidh, I always love photographing a ceilidh – so much fun and action!

Laura & Niall’s day was one of many venues which gave the day a great variety. With both of them being film fans, they had the fantastic idea of going to the Dominion Cinema after the ceremony at Lothian Chambers, I love it when a couple stamps their personality on the day and does something a little out of the ordinary. The day finished up at the Corn Exchange for the wedding breakfast and a fantastic party!

Finally catching up with some weddings from last year! Here’s my personal favourites from Pam & Jason’s wedding. The ceremony was held at St Cuthberts RC Church in Slateford with the reception held at the Norton House Hotel. The day was great fun with plenty of laughs and for once we were blessed with great weather, a rare thing last summer!

Due to an incredibly busy summer it has been a while with no posts on this blog, a situation that I am determined to redress so without further ado here’s some of my favourites from Jo and Gregg’s wedding at The Atrium in Edinburgh.  Jo & Gregg were a really relaxed and easy-going couple to work with and have a great sense of fun which really came through on the day.

First Dance

Here’s a few of my personal favourites from Steven & Xiaoling’s wedding earlier this month.  Xiaoling is from Shanghai and so there was a wonderful mix of culture which made the day a visual treat to photograph!  Steven & Xiaoling were married at Lothian Chambers, had their wedding breakfast at Amber followed by a few portraits around Edinburgh city centre and then to Melville Castle for the reception followed by a ceilidh with the Portobello Ceilidh Band.

The day started off at Pride Hair and Beauty where Xiaoling and her two bridesmaids had their hair done.

And then a short walk to get ready.
