Here’s a few of my personal favourites from Steven & Xiaoling’s wedding earlier this month.  Xiaoling is from Shanghai and so there was a wonderful mix of culture which made the day a visual treat to photograph!  Steven & Xiaoling were married at Lothian Chambers, had their wedding breakfast at Amber followed by a few portraits around Edinburgh city centre and then to Melville Castle for the reception followed by a ceilidh with the Portobello Ceilidh Band.

The day started off at Pride Hair and Beauty where Xiaoling and her two bridesmaids had their hair done.

And then a short walk to get ready.

Last year I wrote an article for Photo Pro magazine on the subject of green photography, focussing on what professional photographers can do to make their businesses more environmentally friendly.

Many of the changes that we can make, individually, may seem small and insignificant, but if everyone does all they can to be less damaging to the environment then big changes can result. We all undoubtedly have a commitment to do what is within our powers to be greener and ensure that future generations have a safe and clean world to live in.
