About Your Photographer

Free Range Photographic is run by 32 year old John Hobson, a fun and friendly photographer with genuine creative flair behind the camera. John has had a long-standing interest in photography, winning his first photographic prize aged 11 in his Gloucestershire village’s produce show for a print of The Bridge of Sighs in Venice. Photography has been a constant in his life ever since and it was during a year’s career break spent travelling in 2005 that he decided to make his passion for photography his career and so Free Range Photographic was born. John’s photographs have featured as full page spread in the New York Times and on the front cover of the United Nations book ‘Arms Control After Iraq’. He maintains a website for his personal work at johnhobsonphotography.com.

John is a member of the professional photographic trade body, the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
